The figures are a little misleading…
Yes, I know. It was a non-too-serious thread given the attention-grabbing 80% figure in the headlines! π

No, of course, it isn’t, the headlines make a dramatic story!! Personally I don’t care whether it exists or not.

The figures are a little misleading. Last year fb invested tens of millions in research and development, once you factor that in their profits were actually up on the year before. Their share price is only down half a percent today so I doubt this is the beginning of the end.

like everything, its up to you how you use it, rather than be used by it… my ‘friends’ on there are people I know (rather than have collected) and so i do want to chat/hear what theyve been up to… its like when people complain about e-bay, but dont bother to find out how to use it properly… π

Even though I am on F/B, I seldom go on there. I have a 28yrs old relative who is in Vietnam, and is travelling around the World with his girlfriend, they have both taken 6 months off work, and every day, we get an update on everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, Women open their hearts about their marriage, and anything else that they think people need to know about, when in reality, we don’t.:p
No interest whatsoever, so it would be no loss to me if it went to the dogs.
Just my opinion.
Jim.
