The little-known Slingsby T.14 Gull 2 – a magnificent glider with some interesting handling capabilities – was written off on a vicious groundloop at Lasham on May 27th, 1958. Though substantially damaged, there is no known (to me at least) recorded fate for this glider. What happened to the damaged glider (which was by all means repairable)? There are rumours it languished at White Waltham for a while.
Who is able to shed light on this matter, and has confirmed sightings of the glider post-accident?
