These metal detecting finds arrived this morning from Germany.
The data plate is for a hydraulic system made by Chn Mansfeld of Leipzig 029.
The data plate suggests that the Ju88 was Werk No. 1997 and was either an A4 or possibly a C2 (can anyone confirm?)
The knob is the pilots seat adjust as seen on ju88.net.

The vented cap is a common item.

Mike I agree about the knob and it is also quote tactile.
The chap thinks it was an A3 Trainer which may have made the departure more stressful..

UNice finds ,I wonder if the seat adjuster knob was one of the last things to be used before a hurried departure !
