I’m really sorry but it is not a VC10… thanks for noticing rdc100! It is in fact an Il-62, I kind of confused myself! 🙂
Looks like you’re finding it a bit of a challenge, so I’ll tell you, it’s a Il-62 Cubana aircraft taken last August in Gran Canaria.

i agree…if you see both the pics posted by rdc….the tail end exhaust of the both the aircrafts is very different…..the VC 10 one at the ending bends a little towards the outside…..are we confused between the VC 10 and the Il 62??Because even i am thinking now its a Il 62…..

here we go then, I’ve found some pics of each aircraft. Look at the tails, the il-62 is much thinner, and goes straight up and down, the vc-10 has a more curvacious front and at the back curves down slightly.

Crikey…!! You cannot be defeated by this one… it is so relevant to a particular topic going on at the moment! You got the aircraft as a VC10, but it’s not BOAC or Ghana Airways… anyone want another bash?

indeedy, it is the tail of a VC10 but I figured that by changing the photograph this much it would be fairly hard for someone to spot the airline… any ideas?
