Fairly rough but any landing you can walk away from is a good one I say 🙂

Did no one pay attention to what they were saying? The aircraft was having engine trouble due to carb ice. The pilot was making an emergency landing. Seems the snow ended up deeper than expected.

I have a sneaky suspicion that it wasn’t an attempted landing. It looks to me like he just flew into the ground in a perfectly serviceable a/c. Easily done in those sort of conditions.

Look at the passengers. The whiteness of their knuckles is probably a good indication he should NOT have attempted the landing!
