In the second pic you can see the domestic terminal of Delhi.
The third pic shows IL 76s of the IAF(Indian Air Force) which are based in Delhi only)
The fourth pic of course shows one of my fav. airlines Jet Airways. In the background you see Fokkers of now difunct airlies NEPC……. They were also supposed to be a low-cost airlines. Two three airlines started at the same time at about in 1993 namely Jet Airways, NEPC, Modiluft and Damania. Jet is now the sole survior.
5th pic shows licensed produced HAL BAe 748.
6th pic shows India Airlines subs. Alliance Air which operates almost all IC B737…..if you love your life never step into this airline.

Nice pics KabirT….Is that an Antonov An26 in the first pic? Is it also correct that the Indian Air Force uses type names for its aircraft as well as the official designation.An ex Air India 747 Capt did tell me that he thought that was so, but it was a long time ago!
