Snow!

Well that was a journey and a half!

I left work at 5pm and have just got home on the bus, a journey that usually takes about 20 mins – what was the cause you ask? Snow! The weather on every channel/website/radio station etc yesterday predicted no snow whatso’ever

Amazing how the second city can be brought to a complete halt – then again it has happened before.

Well it’s been snowing since about midday and close to over 5 inches has fell near my house, we live on steep a hill and it was a hell of a ride watching the bus slowly crawling up there!

The bus driver on our route (120) actually asked our approval on whether he could take another route he knew that he hoped would be less busy and it turned out it was a little quicker (god knows what happened to passangers waiting for a bus on the original route).

Anyway as I got off the bus the driver said …………………..

“Take care of yourself”

It’s things like that, that can really put a smile on your face 🙂

It’s going to be even worse tommorow with the sub-zero temperatures freezing all this snow and ice on the roads.

One hell of a day – has anyone else had any trouble with the snow today?
