Snowfall on aircraft hangars

Sweeping the snow off my shed and greenhouse roofs today, thought occured how many aircraft are possibly endangered by the weight of snow on the hangar roofs ?
It might be worth checking particularly as more snow is forecast for East Anglia & Lincolnshire tonight.

The Bessoneau type hangars had Snow Props to help keep the roof convex. As with other older Sheds I am sure !
It is usual for most large hangars to have roof heaters !So the roof was nice and warm and we would be shivering in the draughts at ground level 😀

Adverse snow loading calculations relative to the ground conditions at Winthorpe was one of the reasons why Newark Air Museum opted not to refurbish the T2 steelwork from RAF Bottesford and decided to proceed with a new portal steel framework for Display Hangar 2 in 2003/4.

The topic has been covered about these parts before!
