It looks as though everyone on here likes to take part in a good quiz or two, so see if you can come up with the correct answers to this little lot:
1. Which country do Royal Jordanian Airlines register their Airbus fleet in?
2. Pakistan International operate the 747-300 on the bulk of their long haul network, but which airline do they lease these aircraft from?
3. How many Airbus A320’s did British Airways inherit from British Caledonian following the 1987 takeover?
4. In which year did Trans European Airways (TEA) go bankrupt?
5. Which was the first North American carrier to operate the 757-300?
6. What engines powered the DC-10 series 40?
7. Only two airlines purchased the DC-10 series 40, but who were they?
8. The DC-9 series 15 was designed specifically for one airline – Can you name the carrier?

14. What is the ATC call sign of Air 2000?
15. What is the name of the new arm of British Airways that will be based at the UK regional airports, Birmingham and Manchester?
I think most of these questions shouldn’t pose too much of a problem, but lets see what you all come up with!

You’re quite correct. Sorry! I was actually meaning to type Jetset, but for some reason I entered a different call sign! Never mind, these things happen!

I’m only going to guess at the two I think I might get right. One I’m only half-right though maybe.
7. Northwest and ?
9. KC-135 (or C-135 series really) – totally unrelated to the current 717-200
OR you could be referring to the MD-95, which was what McDonnell Douglas called the aircraft before their merger. It depends on the company I suppose.
