My daughter insists that she’s going to create a twitter account for me,in spite of being told that the only thing I’d ever tweet is ” Oh for heaven’s SAKE !! “
Is there any value in these social networking websites ?
Are sites like twitter and facebook a wonderful way for people of all ages to keep in touch, or do you think as I do,that they invest too much importance in trivial occurences,giving the impression that we need to know everything about everybody at all times ?
Have you got hundreds of friends on facebook that you really do know ?
Is anyone man ( or woman ) enough to admit that they tweet ? :diablo:

I do facebook, but that’s it. And I don’t just randomly friend people, the people I speak to on there are genuinely friends.

FB is handy for the banter that would just clog up the forums and useful for staying in touch with long distant friends.
Twitter is handy for being aware of what’s going on at times and some of the comedians are entertaining to follow.

These days you have to be man enough to admit to not tweeting, don’t you? Emails and google chat is about my limit. If people want to indulge then fine, but I find the whole thing a bit ridiculous, frankly.

I have Facebook for Family mainly who are in NZ , Aus and the US, I also have friends, that I know, that share an aviation interest.
I also tweet but not daily.
