my brother has bought two Soko Galeb G-2 aircraft, and now they are almost restored to flying status. We do have some problems with the engine, which is icense-built Rolls Royce/Bristol Siddeley Viper ASV.11 Mk 22-6.
The company in Bosnia which used to build the engines wants 90k EUR for total overhaul and 30 k EUR for basic overhaul. We find this sums ridiculus. Does anybody know if there is any repair shop in UK or anywhere else in EU where they could do the overhaul?

Last time I heard – about 5 years ago – a Civil Viper (522) fuel pump overhaul cost £40,000+ so you would seem to be getting a good deal for the engine overhaul!!
