I don’t see the need for such dramatic exits personally. If somebody wants to go, then go. I cannot see any point to making a big thing out of it.

Relax Hand, This forum always has its ups and downs. If you leave, the French will be outnumbered 🙂 You don’t want Arthur or Geforce running off at the mouth on what they think is good for France do you? 😀 Anyway, I hope you don’t go. Take a break, or vacation from it, but don’t go.

This forum has become reminiscent of a soap opera. Quite a few members; Pakistani, Glenn, Ja Worsley, Phantom II, and quite a few others made a big show and left; only to appear again.
Folks,
If you want to leave, then by all mean leave. If you want to stay, then stay. But for the love of god please spare us these “I am so upset, I am going to leave” threads, and make a big hoo-hah cry about it. This is an online discussion forum, no one knows each other here on a personal basis. Most of us are hidden behind our “handles” and may not appear to be who they advertise to be.
Stop wasting any more bandwith, next time anyone wants to leave; get the hell out, just spare us the emotional circus show.

If you feel you must go then so be it. But I don’t particularly understand your reasoning.

Indeed they do and every one of us is guilty of either starting such a discussion or participating in it. Your ‘War or no war?’ thread has generated a lot of discussion and had a lot of views and in many ways can be judged a success. If, however, you think it has become ‘uninteresting’ you have the choice of ignoring it and moving on to something else. A discussion forum is obviously going to throw up a number of differing points of view, many of which are obviously going to differ from your own. That’s just the nature of the beast.
You have participated in many discussions while you have been a member of the forum and your contributions are just as valuable as the next persons. If you leave over this, the greater loss will be to you, not the forum.
