Almost all the major airports in England and Northern Ireland have stiff crosswinds (20G35 is typical, with Belfast Dublin and Liverpool even worse) for tomorrow morning – could make for some interesting spotting if anyone is out and about.

Seems like my 1000AM flight from BHX on Scando to Copenhagen could be “entertaining” given that wind is almost straight across 15/33! 😮

last week I flew to Vancouver and we flew over Naha, Japan. We tuned into their ATIS and the wind was 350/75 gusting 92 KTS. Now thats sporty.

Sod the spotting, pretty entertaining driving one onto a wet E/W runway at 4am, with the wind 180/25-35!!
