Today Malev Hungarian airlines announced that it will commence 3 weekly flights from Budapest to Cork using a Boeing 737-600.
The Hungarian airlines will also commence service from Budapest to Gothenburg 5 times a week using a CRJ200. Frequency on this route will increase to 6 weekly from June.
In addition to these 2 new routes they will also begin seasonal flights to Oslo opertaing on mondays with a Boeing 737-700 and thursday and fridays using a Fokker 70.
From the 10th of June until September they will upgrade their monday service from Budapest to Malaga from a 737-700 to a 800.
Its good to see Cork getting some new routes. It also has a daily CSA flight to Prague.
