None of them were originally two-seaters!

I shall rephrase – not one of the aircraft originally converted to two-seaters after the war.

It is MJ627, I believe it is owned by Maurice Bayliss and is based at East Kirkby. Some nice pics of it can be fount on the link below:

Whos is the high topped rear cockpit Spitfire?

MJ627, owned by Peter and Maurice Bayliss, based at East Kirkby and most often flown by Paul Day.

If i remember correctly both the grace spitfire and the iac t9s rear cockpits are not thsat high and the other 2 seater in the uk is also a low back. Or is that me.

Grace Spitfire has low canopy, IAC161 has high. There is another 2-seater flying in the UK – Anthony Hodgson’s PT462. It has a low rear canopy.
