The chronology would certainly be interesting. The original ideas was to use the title ‘Memphis Belle’, then they were told they couldn’t (I’m not 100% sure so far, but from here on I am) and it was titled ‘Southern Belle’ temorarily until Catherine Wyler and David Putnam cleared permission to call the new film ‘Memphis Belle’ and did so.

That’s interesting, the script is dated July 1989 and is only a draft copy……………but the filming started in June?
