Some More Aerial Photos From The ETO

I posted cropped versions of some of these photos yesterday for those of you with low bandwidth. Here is a link to the high resolution photos from which the crops came. These are best looked at in original size if you have the computer and bandwidth to handle it. Click on a thumbnail and “all sizes” will be an option if you are viewing the page in English. The Dresden pic is in Freital, SW of the city near Coschuetz/Gittersee. Some of the sheds are still there.

The date on the pic named Dresden is interesting. i’d not been aware of any raids there before October ’44. Perhaps the smoking factory in the top centre of the pic was a target of opportunity on 24 August.
