Here is a nice J10 CGI taken from the WMF, along with a deliberately blurred picture of prototype 1009 and 1003 (one of the planes is 1009 according to a WMF poster). Here is also a tailed portion of the clear 1009+1003 picture indicating that a clear version exists, but people are reluctant to post the full clear picture. The 1009+1003 pic appears to be carrying droptanks and some larger missile.
I think the authorities have taken a dim view lately of J-10 pics, especially if they’re appearing to carry potential long range AAMs, which is a reason why we’re not seeing clear pics of J-10s with these larger missiles or why these pics are being blurred. This is especially in the light of the major controversy of the Bill Gertz report that China test fired the R-77 on some SU-30MKKs.
The thumbnail pic of J-10 no. 1008 that appeared in the earlier J-10 “desktop” I posted earlier appears to be really 1008, since 1003 in the 1009+1003 pic still appears to have yellow unpainted sections.
