tenthije, the livery in question is ex Cyprus Airways the aircraft was leased to them untill the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 BA had to retreve the aircraft in 1977 and restore them to flying condition for use on the network.

Wysiwyg, i have indeed,the guy who owns the sim is a good freind of mine.I never had to pay to go flying as i got a shed load of spares (instruments ) for him,i first flew G-AWZQ in 1993. 🙂

Ren, was the Trident over the Motorway or going around to the south of your building?

It was going East to West past the three grey high rises you can see looking south west from the flying club. I was on the tenth floor of the one furthest left, south facing side of the building.

Trident Man – have you flown BA’s old Trident sim which is now located on a farm near Biggin Hill. A year or so ago it used to be hired out for £70 per hour. I presume it’s still available. It has night visuals and full motion. Skycruiser used it to practice before his Cathay sim ride a few years ago.
