Being reasonably new and, posting very infrequently. i thought i’d share some of my best photos.
starting with the oldest.
an aegean 73 landing at corfu
air berlin 330 landing on 15 at birmingham, on a troop flight.
air India triple turning onto the same runway. really a shame we don’t see these in BHX anymore.
starting to get arty farty now. had to trek across a swamp to get this. dash 8 landing on 15 at BHX.

ryanar 73 on the same runway
one of only 2 a340’s ever to visit BHX. the other being a air tahiti one thet went tech on a troop flight.
taken from where the defunct “grass bank” used to be. its now a road to the staff car park, the older BHX spotter would remember this place well.
the day the a380 did two low approaches. this really highlights how bumpy BHX’s runway is.
took a trip to chester just to catch this. had to get the wide angle out.
cant for the life of me remember what aircraft this was. 40 second exposure very low ISO.
finally…
a flybe embraer landing over the coventry road a45, onto runway 33. 1 minute exposure.
Not bad for a 19 year old i think.

No, it was sarcasm. I’m a photographer as well as a screener, and besides, the smiley should have made my intent obvious. 😉

Yes, I haven’t posted much on here before but I always lurk on here to see the photos. I am familiar with sarcasm but that was big headed.

Brilliant shots there Dan. The Beluga shot and the long exposures are especially good. Great work mate.
Paul is it really necessary to drop the fact you’re a screener in there? It’s not really relevant in the thread.

Not bad at all, although my screeners eye is immediately distracted by the rather hefty dust spot appearing in one or two of them! 😀
