Always great to see your retro pictures Robert, especially those from the early 80’s, when I got into commercial aviation…
Also enjoying the bonus shots from a319airbus, I take it the 757 demonstrator was visiting BA ahead of them receiving their new fleet in 1983 as joint launch customer with Eastern ?

Some nice “oldies but goldies” there! The National DC-10 is a cracker. I can see you made some pilgrimages to Queens Building in the good old days.
Thanks for the memories,
Peter

Great to see some old shots from the good old days when there were still some good spotting locations. Round the perimeter must have been excellent in these days but we tended to stay around the central area as reggies were the important thing and photos were take what you get.
Couple of types there I haven’t flown in. Trident 2 (been in 1s and 3s only) and DC10. And as for backgrounds…. in background of the Trident shot is the comet. Add that no “not flown in”. Behind the Aeroflot I see a couple of little guys. If that is a Corvette then add that to the list, if a Falcon 20 then don’t add. I think that may also be a Be200 in that shot, in which case also no need to add.
I must look out some of my old shots and scan them in.
