Some old pictures of my gliding club

Hi all,

I scanned a couple of old pictures of my gliding club the Gelderse Zweefvliegclub, then called the Arnhemse Zweefvliegclub.

Really neat to see these old shots. Especially of the gliders since I have started my gliding lessons.

That will be a Grunau Baby. Probably PH-84.

In the fourth picture the glider in the middle with the guys clustered around look a bit like a Hutter H 17. I had one of these for many years.
Alternatively it could be a Grunau Baby I guess.
Nice pics

Lovely, thank you. They seem like ‘happy days’ and with trousers that we would call ‘Plus Fours’ and berets, and the types of glider, that must be pre-war.

Best wishes

Soggy
