Brings tears to the eyes to look at these. The Transavia 737 shot was taken at the old terminal wasn’t it? I remember the only Transavia Caravelle I ever saw (PH-TRX) at the old terminal on 15 October 1975. We had been laying concrete on the then new runway and work stopped because the fog was so bad so I went up onto the spectators terrace to see what was in. The fog was so bad you could just make out the parked aircraft and the Caravelle taxied out into the murk and took off.

Sadly what my photos don’t show is the total lack of movements there was each day, sometimes 2 hours+ between anything happening, no Internet in them days for info

I was at EDI today, and I can’t help thinking that your excellent pictures show much more interesting times at the airport.
All those quiet Airbus and Boeing and Embraer, were a little boring.
