I took these photos at a fairly recent airshow featuring the Blue Angels. I thought I’d share them with you guys. Keep in mind I certainly am no photographer. I just like to have photos of all the static display aircraft and the like. The day was rather overcast so in some cases the lighting wasn’t exactly superb. In some cases the pictures are downright bad. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy. And if you’d like to use the photos I only ask that you e-mail me or post a message here asking for their use.
Enjoy! PII

I believe the SAAB is doing the ABZ/NWI run these days. Are bmi still on the route too? If so, strange that Eastern would use a turboprop if bmi are still using the jet.
yup, bmi have a twice daily (Mon-Fri) ER3 service, as well as a Sunday evening service on that route.

Great shots, love the Q4 and the ERJ. Think those billboard titles look really smart actually……any idea if they will be doing the same on the Jetstreams?

Yes coz the ERJ usualy does Aberdeen – Norwhich, presumably the Saab is doing this now?
By: Arabella-Cox - 11th June 2004 at 21:55
It is usually operated with a Saab 2000
By: Arabella-Cox - 11th June 2004 at 21:54
No, the ERJ is based in Aberdeen, it flies from Aberdeen to Newcastle and onto Southampton and vice versa.

Im 95% sure it will have been, it’s based at NCL is it not?
By: Mark L - 11th June 2004 at 21:36
Where is the ERJ coming from, Southampton?
By: RIPConcorde - 11th June 2004 at 21:24
It’s the Star Wars plane! 😉 G-JEDI.
I was hoping to get on it when I went to BHX, I got JEDK instead, although JEDI was parked right next to it. I have a feeling that JEDI is based at EDI just now.

Lovely shots Britannia, Eastern Airways have started to use that ERJ very frequently in Newcastle
