Great pics Graham, the My DC-10-30 is the only 10 they have left. And it’s COA runs it soon enough as well. It would be great to see it painted up in the new livery before it get’s axed.
According to a UK aircraft database, its C of A expires on 29/03/05 so they have quite a bit of time before it gets axed.

Your BA 767 would have been G-BNWH, same as always, flying to JFK.

Great pictures, particularly like the BY 767 and the MYT DC-10. I have a push-fit model of that DC-10!:D

Hi chaps thankyou for your nice comments….
Greekdude, the Virgin 747 flies from Manchester to Orlando daily (apart from Monday’s and Sunday’s). Departs at 10:25.
LBA Rules, You obviously had alot more sense than I did by staying in the terminal. It was so cold yesterday, although ironically if you sat in the car, it was quite warm off the sun. The damn gusty winds made it about 10 times colder !!! Oh and when Malaysian 747 paused infront of us momentarily the heat of the engines kept us warm abit longer!
Re. Thomson 752 – yeah I saw it, twas G-BYAS. Iv attached a photo below of it but it’s quite poor, due to the bad sun at that time. I saw the BY 767 – pictured above. You didnt happen to get the reg of the following aircraft did you ? Continental 767, American Airlines 767 and the BA 767? For some reason, I firstly forgot to write the reg’s down and secondly, the pictures I took all had a wing or something obscuring the Reg… Thanks…..
All the best

1. To answer your question about the VS 742s. There are two of them, one was recently returned to the UK register whilst one is still with Air Atlanta. The planes alternate on the MAN-MCO route.
2. That V-Bird plane is a Dutchbird hybrid. It can’t be Condor also because the registration is PH-BMC. If it was a Condor plane, it would have D-****. For your information, Dutchbird are a Dutch charter airline.

I probably saw you yesterday as I was too at MAN. Started off at the roof, went round to the viewing park (Decided it was too cold!) and went back to the roof. I saw the VS,FR and PK take off from the roof, and I saw the MYT DC-10 in the air from the coach. Manchester airports new coach and rail facility is so impressive and you even get great views of planes from the moving walkways! Did you get either of The Britannia 752 (In Thomson colours) or the 763 (In old colours?)
Brilliant photos by the way!

That is the DC10 with long-haul capabilities!! During the winter season, nearly all its flights are long-haul but in the summer, it is required to do high density short haul routes. SCY are apparently due to get one of these.
