Today, me and a couple of friends decided to air out flying machines after a long spell sitting idle in the hangar. The weather was indifferent, and the pictures are taken with a point-and-shoot idiomatic camera through not-so-spottless window. It is nowhere near the work of your court photographers, but some came out ok.
Hope you enjoy 😉 😀

My types of aircraft… Nice to see pictures of them thanks chaps. And so evocative of such flying.
The positioning of the Reg on the underside of the CAP.10 is different.

Thanks to both Galdri and Moggy for the pics, very pleasing, just goes to show that you don’t need professional quality photos to tell a story. Moggy, that is a very evocative portrayal of the joys of flying.

Yes, TF-BAY is a Buddy Great Lakes. It is supposed to be a two seat version of the Baby Lakes, but the two people in there need to be……well, intermate! I don’t think this one has ever flown two-up, only flown solo. And it is a great little performer with the O-200.
Just to give you some idea of the size of this bird, the top wing would be about shoulder hight!
Looks like a fun machine. By the sounds of it, it has the same sort of size of cockpit as a KR-2!

I love these first 3 shots of the yellow Cub! (if that’s a cub). Somehow it almost looks like they are drawings or paintings – could be a book cover.
This week-end was not so nice for flying down here, and it’s good to see what you guys have been up to.

And a fantastic picture by the way 😉

Hope you don’t mind my piggy-backing on your thread but here’s my image from Saturday’s dart across the channel.

Here are a couple of more pictures. The quality of the Buddy Great Lakes is not very good, because the guy insisted on formating upsun, well you can’t have everything!

A spot of Googling comes up with a Buddy Great Lakes, which is perhaps more exotic than the Baby Great Lakes- Anyone know?

It seems like you had a good time Galdri! Nice pics.
What type of biplane is TF-BAY? 😮
