Thanks Tartan. I certainly wouldn’t normally stand in the rain shooting EZY and FR. I only went down for the Cityjet, but it was an hour late so I used them for target practice. Was pleased to see the DHL movement though, they’re always parked when I go up there but I’ve never seen one move before!

The Cityjet flight came in from CDG, so maybe a charter to do with the rugby?
Indeed, might even have brought the team itself in…or perhaps a group of French fans all got together and chartered an aircraft so they could attend the match (might have worked out cheaper and ultimately faster than getting a coach and crossing the Channel!). Shame both will have left feeling rather disappointed.:D

Well done there.. i have to say, this set is the most depressing set of shots seen in a while!!(Absolutely NO bad comment meant on the quality of the shots), going to Luton airport on a saturday, peeing down from the heavens and just endless Easy and RYR’s.. not even a nice biz jet!! just a Netjets!!… Huge kudos for sticking with it for the hour and a bit!! well done, sir!:)

CityJet do not operate any scheduled services to/from LTN as far as I am aware, unless it was being used as a sub-charter for another airline to replace an aircraft for a scheduled flight; who/where it was operating I don’t know?
Either that or it might have been a private charter…
Great photos and well done for standing out in the rain.:)
Lots of orange in this thread; someone will be pleased when he sees them…lol!
(Sorry Rob, couldn’t resist!:D)
