Some pics from BSL on Friday

After all the LH activity lasttime I was at BSL, if seemed to be just Swiss again this time. (For the moment, anyway…)
Friday was day 2 of a week long Major Exhibition at the trade fair in Basel, and the high and mighty were apparantly all flying in! http://www.baselworld.ch

First up, VP-BYS Gulfstream IV of Saudi Oger
Saab 2000 HB-IZO of Swiss, still in Crossair colours landed next. This is the aircraft I came back from BCN in last year.
Fokker 100 F-GPNL of RΓ©gional, operating the Air France shuttle to CDG.
Swiss HB-JAW
TC-OAN A321 of Onur Air landing
N4962V Cessna 172RG Cutlass just before touchdown. A long way from home on one engine!
HB-IZZ Saab 2000 of Swiss, in Crossair colours, and still proclaiming that it’s Crossair’s 25th Saab 2000, taxi-ing out.
OE-GPZ Cessna 560XL Citation Exel of Jet Alliance landing.

HB-IZZ accelerates along 16.
HB-JAX Swiss ERJ145 taxis out.
Then HB-IZO left again. This is the only Crossair Saab that got a silver tail, rather than the standard grey one. This was to be the updated livery, before Swiss came about.
HB-JAX took off next.
BA A319 G-EUPF didn’t line up at the end of the Runway. while I’ve seen the occasional flight line up here, it’s the first time I’ve seen anything bigger than a Saab do it.
While Papa Fox held short, Cessna 550 Citation II HB-VMJ landed.
And once Speedbird had gone, the last movement before I left was Swiss ERJ 145 HB-JAY leaving, seen here taxi-ing out.

(damn that sun over to the right)
