Some questions on Eurocanards and politics

I was wondering about somethings and would like some clarification on it..

Gripen – I heard that Sweden refuses to sell the Gripen to countries in active war, or something to that effect (I guess marketed to those countries unlikely to have “hot conflicts”).. is this true? Also, in order to combat some of the American power to refuse to cell certain parts.. has Saab been willing to offer equivelent parts? I know the missle thing is semi solved with S.African missles, but what about the engines and other critical components..

Eurofighter – lets say one of the four countries has an issue with a foreign (meaning out side of the 4) operator of the Eurofighter, and refuses to sell parts.. can that operator still be able to acquire those same parts from the other 3?
