Some rumours

1. G-4M project will be cancelled in favour of more advanced G-4M2 upgrade. G-4M2 will have new afterburning jet taken out of Orao and that might be reason why Orao will be completely pulled out of service by 2010.
2. G-4M2 will receive new avionics and nav/attack systems. Cockpit will be modernised with multiple MFD. Nose of the aircraft will be redesigned to house FLIR (Israel) and laser designator .For defence purposes new RWR of Israeli origin will be installed.

4. G-4M2 avionics will include simulation suit so that function of non-existent systems (like radar) can be simulate during flight for more realistic training. Because using such a simulator for MiG-21bis will be over kill, and number of MiG-29A is very small (4) this can indicate intention to purchase new multirole aircraft.
5. Lasta 3 project is definitely going ahead and Serbian Aerospace industry is in final stage of buying necessary tools for serial production. (Should start in approximately year from now)
6. UAV was flight tested last April and it looks increasingly that it will enter active service
