Some school pics

Some pics I took at the ROC near Schiphol,Holland. The school has a large collection of aircraft in their “hangar” which almost makes it a full museum. There is an open day on March 18, for those interested. BW Roger

The one you saw crashed a Keiheuvel. Both crew were killed. BW Roger

🙁

I didn’t know that. Sad news. I wondered why I couldn’t find any recent info about this Harvard. But now I understand why.

It’s an US-2N Tracker, formerly used by the KLM school which explains the colors. It’s the former 151 from the Marine Luchtvaartdienst.

Edit: Sorry Roger, we cross-posted here!

Wow, not seen them before. I assume that the two ex Ibis HP137 Jetstreams but what is behind them in KLM colors? Almost looks like a Pembroke? But I guess its a Tracker? Safiar is very nice one of my fave types.

Very nice machine! Was it registered as PH-BKT (B-135)? This was a blue Harvard which I saw at a show in Belgium as a little kid (around 1987). I wonder what happend with that machine. Could this be the one?

Where did I see those pics before? 😉

Very nice Roger! Is that Harvard an ex-RNAF machine?

To be honest Tim, I doubt it. They still have enough place to keep their fleet. But the machines are indoors, so they are preserved well untill some day they go. BW Roger

Hello Roger and all,

I assume they plan to retire something from ground instruction now that a non MLU F-16 has arrived?

Cheers

Tim
