Beyond it being written on the crane there is a mothballed short marine carrier in the background there from the shutdown naval base. 🙂
Where was the location of the picture from your previous picture group?
The one with the stadia was the same flight but further out on the approach.

Nice pics wannabepilot and kaplan dig!!
I love window shots too!
wannabepilot,
When were you at BFS? I was there on Wed 26th July. I flew in from BRS for the day on EZY birds G-EZJT and G-EZJO both -700’s. Excellent flight and brill crew! I got to sit in the F/O’s seat after the flight had landed at BRS. I took the opportunity to ask loads of questions I’ve been wanting to know. The pilots were quite young, epecially Mark for a Captain and they had a great sense of humour too!

Number 6 is Glasgow again!
That AeroConder Shorts 360 is parked up the side of the runway, which seems like a slight giveaway.
A 757 this time? BA 757s don’t seem to common at Glasgow, so I’ll opt for a charter airline, maybe Thomas Cook?

Number 3 looks very much like a 737, perhaps a -300. I know for a fact from the “Babcock” building that its landing in Glasgow.
Is it easyJet?

Ok, got some shots uploaded from my EZY 737 STN-BFS flight the other day. I had pre-planned it, knowing how the planes were using RWY23, to get a view of my town (and house) from the air. The one with my house in it is of a particularly bad quality, but I’ll point it out anyway!
1.First is a lo-co line up at STN.
2.Next is after take-off, over flying various long stay carparks.
3.Perfect aerial view of my town from the air. In central area of photo is cinema complex, train station and various other buildings. Only really interesting when you know the place! 😀
4. My house, pointed out. This was taken with no zoom, but is very grainy as this is a small part of the pic cut out, and had to mess with the colours a lot to make the buildings more clear.
5. Low on approach to Aldergrove in very poor weather (particularly for summer)
6. Coming to a halt on the runway. 2 EZY’s, a TNT A300 and Jet2 737 parked up.

Red alright but neither SAS nor hooters :p
Southwest in their new livery?
Is the city Knoxville or something in the central states? It looks really familiar but I can’t place it.

By: kaplan dig - 29th July 2004 at 23:27
hmmm, 737 with red nacelles. Either SAS or you’ve been flying hooters while in the states.

The first one is a 777 taking off from Chicago. The second a 747-400, the third and fourth look like an A320-100, fith and sixth 777’s and the last one a 737 engine.
Nice pictures.

Very nice shots there. As most of you know, I take more wing view shots than practically anything else! However, I am currently in Belfast partaking in Group Flight so do not have access to my database of wingview shots at home. I took a couple on the flight here which I will try and get off of my camera and upload later.
