Yes, there is a story behind that shot.

IIRC, that was the plane taking King Hussain (sp?) of Jordania back home as he was in the last phase of a cancer, after a treatment in the USA failed. And the U.S. gave him an escort to honour him.

A nice shot for a sad story indeed…

The Tristar with the Jordanian livery is indeed very sharp and quite superior to any other airlines. Looks especially good on the A320.
