Something for Mosquito fans tonight on BBC 2 at 7

The Mossie deserves a film all to herself. I can remember seeing a few over the years. One of the best is the film made by de Havilland themselves during the war, so proud were they of their achievement. Can’t remember the title though….

The Mosquito element was nothing new really, but I did enjoy the programme. Strangely enough I was looking at the Tank Museum website on the restoration of the Tiger last week – oh, and memories of my Grandfather’s views on the Sten – ” couldn’t have hit a barn door from the other side of the street”

Ah, the joys of iplayer – worth a watch!
