Something for P-51 fans

Greetings from the Southern hemisphere again,

Just thought you might want to see this clock I made out of aluminium one day when I was bored.
It’s in the markings of the New Zealand Territorial Airforce No.3 Squadron (Canterbury).

Note the numerals P,5,1,D…….

:p

I did indeed….(Hurri poster that is )

mmm….food for thought….

I am going to take an extra memory card for the camera so I can get so great pics of the La-9.

Okay, maybe the La-9 one first, then the Spit one…..

me better get busy…..

Ah, but did you notice the Hurricane poster on the wall! 😉

I think the OFMC would be most interested if you did an La-9. A sort of Breitling Fighters Commemorative clock collection?

…and one would think you had a thing for Spits…;) ….

Seriously, they’re look great.

I’m going to make an equivalent one of the P-51 clock in the Spit and also toying with the idea of a La-9 one also..

Turbo

As promised, a pic of my Spitfire clock! I think my aunt got it for me from White Waltham airfield back in 1996, there was a good airshow there and, surprise surprise, the star of it was a certain two-seater Spitfire being flown by an Australian housewife…!!

(Sorry the image is a bit fuzzy!)

Good stuff , Daz

I am toying with idea of making a Spitfire one next in the same way, but it will have to be a Malcolm Hood one so I can get a decent clock face.

What ya reckon ?:D
