When it woke me up all i thought it was AN-22 because it has been over my way before when it did land at Manchester and it has such a distinctive sound…..big Shack !
Pity it did not come here again but i have been in the one preserved at Speyer…….which was nice 😀

The An22 may well have flown over the Manchester area in the early hours, but it certainly didn’t visit MAN.
Or if it did, no-one noticed it. And how likely is that?

Most likely the AN22 like tenthije pointed out – Apart from that there wasn’t much around, except a Helicopter.

It sounded like AN-22 but my wife just called me an anorak !!!!!
