I only got a fleeting glimpse to my side, then the rear view mirror. Sunday at about 19:00 at around junction 20.
It had the look of a Spitfire high back in camouflage.
Any ideas, original, replica, the new film etc?

Mark, heading north around at that location is heading towards leicestershire not away from it so unlikely to be from the gcr.Its proberbly a replica heading back home in the north.
I did say ‘around Junction 20’. I was travelling South from Nottingham. 🙂

I presume it will all be in the book Vol 11
Replicas not to Supermarine basic construction process and materials are not included…GRP etc

That would look to be the one, a replica, but belonging to and based where I wonder.

Hi
Maybe some thing to do with the Great central railway 1940 weekend.
Please see picture nineteen of link.
This picture was taken in the yard of the Quorn and woodhouse station on the Great Central Railway but the best M1 junction from they to head north would be 23.
