Has anyone tried either of these two portable gaming systems? Some screenshots Ive seen look pretty amazing.

The Sony PSP looks good with it’s big screen and graphics.. however I don’t think it’ll be popular with users because of it’s very low battery life..and from what I’ve seen.. isn’t THAT small.. you’d need a very big pocket for it.
I think the Nintendo DS is much more innovative even if the screen is smaller.

the DS looks interesting with its two screens but i am not sure how they are going to take advantage it. i can only see the second screen used for inventory and character status.
I think its a pretty good idea myself. There are alot of PC games that have really big HUDS that take up alot of screen area and detract from the view of the game. I often would like to have all that info on a seperate screen.

the release date in north america is in Q4 2004, europe in march 2005, last time i heard.
the DS looks interesting with its two screens but i am not sure how they are going to take advantage it. i can only see the second screen used for inventory and character status.
i probably will not buy them or ill just wait till the price goes down. i have enough games to play on PC, Xbox, GC and PS2 🙂 .
