Anyone know what the plans are for this loverly A/C? i see from GINFO that its CofA ran out in 2001, such a shame that it is not flown anymore. i belive that it now belongs to Andrew Wood, is it still at OW? Q for pics to be posted of the beast 😀

I seem to recollect it broke a wheel and wound up on its nose. No doubt with various bits of damage to wings etc en-route.

The engine (looking beautiful) was in Andrew Wood’s workshop when I visited a couple of years ago.

Good to see it on the way back to flying condition, i guess the damage was more severe than the AAIB report would suggest.

The aircraft is being rebuilt. Here are some photos taken a couple of years ago when the fuselage was at the Vintage Fabrics workshop

Blue Max,

I last saw it at Old Hay (2001 I think), and believe that it had a minor ding on it’s return to Andrewsfield. Havent seen it since….
