Sorry Need Help Again! 582 Sqn Lancaster

For the last 5 months I have been extolling the virtues of you people who seem to know so much (and do) with my colleagues, now I am getting challenges !
One of these people would like to know more about his grandfather who died on a raid on Kiel on 24/25 July 1944, taking off from Little Staughton, with 582 squadron in a lancaster 111 at 10.22pm.
I have found some rudementry information from various sources on the web thing, can somebody point me in the right direction ? Your reputation is at stake ! haha. thank you Keith. phew !

Thanks for that Simfrank, I got to the RoH link, as all crew member names are there, it narrowed down which of the two aircraft lost that night I was looking for ! Now all I would dearly like is a photo of Lancaster 111 ND931 60-H of 582 Sqdn preferably at Little Staughton ? is that too much to ask ? Keith.

You could also check out the Roll of Honour website as they have a book of rememberance for 109 & 582 Squadrons, it lists all the crews lost in date order.
Hope this is of some use!:)

Wow ! Thank you, Don Clark, T21 and Peter Clare, you kind people are so resourceful ! I followed some of your links and came up with JB417, almost got there, as I found the complete crew listing from local church records, I can confirm it was indeed ND931 60 – H of 582 Squadron as you so rightly predicted.
My colleauge’s grandfather was in that crew ! he did not know that his wife / partner was pregnant with my colleague’s mother ! This information, I know will help him put some things into place. I know ,he, like myself will be forever grateful for your generous help with this. I await the day when hopefully I can offer similar to your good selves. Thank you Keith Newsome.
