Oh well, here goes I hope to bolt the carry through wing spars to the firewall soon….hence I need some bolts, the 1/4 inch ones that hold the carry thru spars to the firewall/Frame 5 (not the wing bolts that attach the wing spar to firewall carry thru spars….does anyone know the size and a source? It is a static so someone with some originals would be even nice….fingers and everything crossed!!!

Theres a chap selling NOS bolts on ebay, he’s in Norfolk I think (no not him!); I got mine from him, he does high tensile and mild, and they are very reasonable.

The long ones I think are A25-41E’s, rare as rocking horse s**te. Just had a look on the LAS website..£9.95 EACH… luckily they have none in stock!
For a static better off using commercial 6mm bolts, bit slack in the holes..but way way cheaper.

Sorry, that will teach me for not being specific!! I did not mean those (wing)bolts (and yes I did know about oversize etc, non-interchangeability and the fire wall plates)…..I meant the bolts that go through the spars, spacer castings and the firewall/fr5:)
Hi Rocketeer,I guess you mean the 1/4 dia bolts that hold the carry through spars to fr5 ? When i go to work tomorrow i’ll measure the length for you. If you want the real thing then they are A25,s but a cheaper option would be A102,s which are a unified thread. Companys like LAS aero spares could help you ! or alternativly as its a static try your local hardware shop !
