Chile & Brazil are settled for the time being, but what about other countries?
Argentinas Mirages & derivatives are all old, & wearing out. AFM says the air force would like secondhand Mirage 2000s, (But where from? The Qataris won’t sell cheap, & the AdlA reportedly doesn’t want to part with any more until it has a lot more Rafales), having abandoned the idea of F-16s, or an interim buy of Mirage F.1s. Is this M2K idea feasible?
Peru has some relatively new aircraft – Mirage 2000 & MiG-29 – but they need upgrading if they’re to stay current. Any plans known?
Venezuela has had its F-16 modernisation knocked back by a US veto. What now? MiG-29?
What about Ecuador & Colombia?
