What happened to the Dakota which I last saw at Waddington a couple of years ago? I heard the company went bankrupt?

Engines are covered (well they were on Saturday) gust locks in place, props have been regularly turned since its arrival, inside is ok and on a nice day is open to allow ventilation.
The owner is not the person mentioned in this thread.

Company administrators have a duty to maximise the return to creditors. Prima face, they ought to be maintaining the condition of a major asset if it is cost effective to do so.
What’s an airworth DC-3 worth? What’s the scrap/parts value? What’s the cost of maintaining in either condition? Where does that money come from…and when.
Sad if, as does happen, the administrator determines that scrap value is the quickest way to return some money to the creditors.

Yes it was at Popham over winter 02/03 but now at Lee. The parent company went down in 02 I think, taking a large flying club and SCAW with it.
