we left for jersey airport from my aunts in longville st saviour at 4:50pm and we checked in and i went up to the viewing area and saw a 737-500 british airways and i saw our Q400 dash8 land we got some dinner and went through to departures and boarded. at 6pm and took off early at 6:25pm and took off over the island the we flew over a blanket of white fog until we flew over southampton docks and landed on time at 7pm also on the flight i bought a Q400 dash8 flybe model for £9.
when we were taxiing we pased a DeHavilland DH6 Twin Otter in air jamaica colours i previously saw it on monday over jersey race course which i won £20 overall on does anyone know which airline it is operating for and why it was in jersey?
overall i would say a very good flight and the service was good 9/10 only because of the delay on the way out

An excellent report EAL_KING, I’m glad you enjoyed the trip.
Looking forward to reading more of your reports soon. 🙂

it is a nice small airport and they have smoking areas in the airport that have heaters and air blowing out and it is like a small prison but is a good idea although i would say there is not much at the airport and i wouldnt use it for international flights i.e salzberg or tenerife or majorca, prague ect as there is not much to do and would be v.cramped.

Nice report, how would you rate Southampton airport? Always comes across as nice, small and efficient to me, but have never flown from there myself.

Well I have to say that if you compared that report to what EAL was writing last summer it is absolutely excellent. Well done EAL-King and thanks for the effort you have made. I’m particularly keen to hear your report on Guernsey.

Thats right markkipling – as it’s EAL shouldn’t there be a full stop in there somewhere?:D
