Hello all!
Does anybody know if there will be a airport open day this year at southend airport,over the sea front airshow weekend?
If so is there on site parking?
..and what time do they allow people on site?
I have never been before and it looks like a good site for photography(nice and close).
any info most welcome!

Most of the RAF stuff should arrive Friday or Saturday
Civil stuff Saturday-Sunday

There will be a preview to Southend Airshow on airshows.co.uk tomorrow evening, including the latest info on the open day. In the mean time, there’s a thread on our forum regarding the open day, in the Aviation Waffle section.

The VRT website gives the weekend of Sat 28 to Mon 30th of May as the Open weekend. Their Vulcan usually does taxi runs.
