Southend Airshow

Has anyone got any information as to whether this event is going ahead.
Quite frankly the weather in this part of the world is pretty bad at the moment and those cheery weather men on BBC News 24 are issuing severe weather warnings for the South East later on.
Yesterday was stunning, if a bit windy, and I saw the Cat and Team Guinot on their way to Southend.
Over recent years the weather has been notoriously grim on this particular weekend, remember the last Air Fete for a start.
Such a shame for all those people that have put so much time and effort into this event, hopefully, the predictions of better weather tomorrow afternoon will turn out to be true, but I’m afraid it’s starting to really chuck it down at the moment, even the dogs won’t go out the door.
Sorry to be so gloomy, but I’ll save making the sandwiches till tomorrow, the Fates are being particularly unkind, I’m afraid.
