Here’s a few from Southend (and one from Billund). Nothing terribly exciting unfortunately.
One of the last Volotea’s of the season in the sun:

A nice new ATR72-600 catching the only sun seen on a very rainy day.

Never caught a Thomas Cook UK aircraft at Southend before – but got two in as many hours!!
This 757 is in for an end of lease maintenance check – performing high power engine runs.

And shortly afterwards this A320 arrived, also end of lease:

A BA Embraer returning to London City after making a tech related diversion the day before:

Just a Saudi BBJ catching the very last sun of the day arriving for maintenance from Riyadh…

And finally, the Sun Air Dornier. I fancied a flight on one of these nifty Dorniers so I booked myself a trip to Billund. The day before was the day of the storm – and to my amazement the aircraft I was off to Billund to fly on diverted to Suthend!

It looks very smart – leased from MHS Aviation and the only Dornier 328 prop in British Airways colours.
A final one of the very same aircraft just before the next day at Billund prior to departing to London City:

Hope these are of interest – a mega Heathrow post is on its way soon!
