Southend Classic Jet, Nigerian and Others…

A few more shots from the last week at Southend….

I’ll start with the star – VP-CAQ executive Boeunbg 737-200 arriving from Saudi Arabia for maintenance – a very nice sight and sound!

Next, another Aero Contractors 737 arriving, this time a 500 series aircraft from Lasham – looking good in its new coat of paint.

I haven;t posted a shot of an Arann ATR for a very long time! 🙂 And a minor livery change – the ‘Aer; of Aer LIngus Regional on EI-CPT has been changed to green – I wonder why!

The weekly Volotea rotating off 24 for Palma:

ANd a final unusual visitor the oldest ERJ around – E170 M-YGRO being towed back to the Air Livbery hangar after arrival from FRance. The aircraft is in the basic scheme of the lesser known Indian carrier Paramount Airwyas and is the first E170 for Azerbaijan Airways!

As always – I hope some of the movements from the last week at Southend are of interest.

Thanks again EGTC and Culpano – I agree the – the spot for landing shots at the end of 06 is excellent and very, very close. Dare I say that Aero 737s are pretty common at Southend – no less than 3 on the ground at the moment! 😎

Thanks for info.

Thanks Alan.
The aircraft opposite ATC Lasham are all in storage having been returned to their respective leasing companies. They are all former Brussels Airlines aircraft – hence the similarity of their colour schemes.

Nice pictures.
Who do the two 146’s and the 737 parked opposite Lasham belong to. ?
They all seem to be in the process of going to the same colour scheme.
