Yes he even bought it over here for Legends to ruin our otherwise perfect Summer 😉

Looks like you had fun Steve glad to see the Fury back in the air.

Cracking stuff Mr P. Good to hear Hairy enjoyed himself, he was really looking forward to it when I last saw him.

Now, Morris Dancing. We though you could tell us 😉

Absolutely first class photos Steve. It is a rare opportunity for many of us to see what it is like in the drivers seat of a fury especially in formation with other classic aircraft.

Did you say Reno? For some reason we thought you were in blightey. 😀

Eddie’s Firefly

Great Shots 😀 , And very nice scenery as well, Thank’s for sharing, I think Eddie’s Firefly is the one I used to sit in and fly at the back of a hangar at Essendon Airport 23/24 years ago 😮 , As a teen I was helping restore two N.Z. T-6s at the time and when ever I got the chance  , I would jump in to the Firefly, A REAL MANS PLANE :p , Thank’s for the memories Chaps 🙂 , Cheers lads, Tally Ho! 😉 Phil. :dev2:

Here’s a couple of “self portraits” by my GIB, a nice shot of the Bearcat, and some shots of Captain Eddie’s Firefly that was parked next to Southern Cross last week.

Six hours in the Sea Fury today…I’m off to bed.

Just home from a very long 10 days in Reno. Here are some shots of the trip out and back that I thought you might enjoy. The outbound leg was Howard Pardue in the Bearcat, and Nelson Ezell in Howard’s Fury, with Stew Dawson in his Sea Fury, Spirit of Texas and me. My backseater today, Steve Dickey of Ezell Aviation gets credit for his stuff (anything not blurry), and the rest of the snaps are mine.

The trip from Texas to Reno covers some amazing country, and we were fortunate to see Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park, as well as the area just north of the Grand Canyon.

Now, what the hell is Morris dancing? What have you guys been doing while I was away? 😎

Cheers,

Steve

PS Had a wonderful time with Mr. Hairyplane, who will have to give his own impressions of his first visit to Reno. He’s welcome anytime, as long as he brings Nicky. 😉
