Soviet/Russian Pilots in recent air combat

There have been a fair amount of instances recently where modern Russian planes have faced Western aircraft, in real combat mainly the MiG-29. However, the pilots belonged ,not to the Russian AF or the Soviet one, but to countries who had purchased the aicraft.

There has also been dissimilar training exercise where Russian-built planes were pitted against Western craft, especially the MiG-29s acquired by the Luftwaffe. There again, the pilots were not Russian.

My question is therefore can anyone direct me to sites or books relating aerial engagement of Russian pilots against Western pilots, either in real combat or in exercises. If anyone prefers to relate Bona Fide stories here about this topic, even better.

I am mainly intrested in ‘recent’ engagements where modern Russian aircraft (MiG-29, Su-27) faced Western craft and pilots.
